GOALS

1. Increase student interest and achievement in science through hands-on real world field experiences and inquiry-based classroom curriculum.
   
2. Provide opportunities for teacher professional development that include curriculum development, best practices in science teaching and strategies for engaging all students in science education.
   
3. Facilitate involvement of local community, from science professionals to everyday citizens, in field and classroom science programs.
